Swami vivekanada said
"If you are a youth and your blood does not boil after seeing the injustice around and if you do not stand firmly to oppose it then you are not a youth at all".
Well, first of all I would like to wish you all a very happy vigourous and pristine "NATIONAL YOUTHS' DAY"
which is been celebrated on the birth anniversary of a "militant monk fiery soul and greatest personality development"coach in the world "swami vivekanada", every year on January 12th.on this 156th birth anniversary of this legendary monk let's remember him for awakening the sleeping souls for accomplishing greater feats.
The very first thing which comes across our mind when we hear word "youth" somewhere swamiji will surely make his way in our minds for atleast few seconds.
Isn't it??
Yes obviously he has become the synonymous for it.
So what is it which makes him so much and so relatable even after 115 years of swamiji's demise we feel still astonished when we either see his portrait or listen his name or read his works is that, he was not only "pure by his words but also by deeds".He did not preach the people the vapid philosophies, religion but he preached them to be strong and courageous.
He didn't ask to sit and pray infront of all the 33 crore mythological gods but asked them to pray the innate energy residing within them he asked them to pray to the divinity which is residing within and made them to realise and imbibed in the hearts of millions of people the strength of lions. As he always used to say "Atmanam uddharetha Atmanam"
Hence he believed its better to worship "human beings", than to the
One who is but nothing other than a stone.
He rightly also have said "they alone live, who live for others the rest are more dead than alive".
Need of Introspection.
In today's modern age(according to some)its often found that the youths in the name of forwardness and fantasies have almost forgotten the impetus of "heyday"
What they knew about the youth power is to enjoy their life with all the comforts of life(hardly earned)and to waste their vitality in procrastinating, doing malicious activities, aggreving , losing character, fascination and all such menace which have hindered the very growth of them.
"Acharya Shankaracharya" used to say that the strength of youth should be cultivated in 3 dimensions 1.physical 2.mental
3.spiritual.
He said that "the one who has attained the life of human being and does not thrive to,realise commits but a spiritual suicide".
Whenever the term spirituality is heard its always misconception in the minds of youth such as sanyasis, exile, stoppage of enjoyments, eating less or shunning all the relationships and all such myths.
Spirituality has nothing to do with all these things its only about leading you into right path(which actually is not so easy) and which is a ray of light to bring you out of obscurity.
As the ultimate goal of a human being is to become mortal to immortal
We all struggle for it and which is ultimatum. Now most of you may think having pleasures in life is not satiable even after we have learnt and standing on our feet and practicing spirituality can be also done at later age in life.
Yeah, its satiable that you have earned enough for you and have been leading a life with all comforts and with doing no harm to others but the basic question lies here is do you really feel you are always bliss and with no regrets or fears of the future??
Do you really think you can sustain yourselves without anyone's support at the time of adversities??
Do you really feel that all that you have achieved materialistic is giving you pleasure?
"Spirituality does not mean about sacrifices but it is all about development of personality"
As for most of the people personality means only the physical appearance like beautiful handsome, dark, fair ,short tall, lean thin, they do not tend to understand the other dimensions of the personality and at the end regretting all the activities done at the youth age.
For example if I have to name APJ kalam he was not at all having pleasing personality but because of 2 others dimensions he surpassed all the people with good appearance.
Its not about how you look or wear but how your physical mental and spiritual energies you maintain.
In recent news I had read an article on a person from vijayapur district in karnataka named sharanappa aged 92 was selected for doing his phd from hampi kannada university after been rejected thrice earlier.
Dont you feel these people signify youths?compare to the one who think addicting to bad habits ,wasting vitality , disobedience are sign of youth?
The problem with today's youth is that they do not know whom to follow, what to follow, what to see, what to hear, what to support and lack of vision or zeal to achieve is the reason why today's youth are been suffered.
According to UNO india is only country in the world with 65%of youth (thats really great!!!!isnt it?)
But the most shocking news which makes all of us tremble is that out 65% Nearly 78% of them are drug abused and have been rupturing their energy and time in such bad habits. What can we expect from such youth which itself is going to be burden on the nation after 10years?
The problem lies not in external things or any persuasion done externally but its the inner thing which is not strong enough to overcome such things.
Ex: Mostly you have been observing your friends or anyone who was once very good at studies and other good things had become drug addicted or wicked only because he/she had been refused by someone who he /she loving?? Haven't you?or any such petite reasons?(I have choosen this example as I feel it will be convinced to the most)is it not true?
For all such people I would like to ask one question..
Why dont you all such youths go to library and read thousands of books to retaliate the one who betrayed you??Or can overcome such things by doing something which is really meaningful?
You can also try this right?
The point I want to convey here is , the youth have died of dreaming big and the content they are been provided is making effect on their minds unconsciously!!
How do you avoid such kinds of thing then??
Its only through the overall development of your personality friends you can survive all such menance.
Remedies
I would like to give very simple guides to follow in order to bring your mind under control.
And remember friends the efforts will be shown gradually in the course of time no greater things have occurred all the same time you need patience perseverance, purity, gratefulness, In order to reach your goals. As warren buffet had rightly said
