Independence –Up The Ante.

History of any country will either flourish or perish based upon the integrity ,oneness or determination of its people.It has also shown us how empires  trembled down  because of  apathy or lack of commitment  towards their own lands.

It often startled us , when slogans of azaadi raise now and then! I mean what Azaadi or independence they are demanding after all?

Do they really know the cost of independence  for  which our forefathers fought bravely?are they even capable to understand the sacrifices ,valor , in-dominant strength, conviction and enormous courage they demonstrated?

Of-course not!These people who sob for  freedom themselves are enslaved to the stigma ,hypocrisy and past.

What does freedom after all mean?

Freedom which we achieved is merely a liberation from the clutches of foreign invaders physically but not incorporally.

The very crux we need to understand  when we speak about independence or azaadi is we should also need to ask oursleves when did we lose it?how and when our azaadi was snatched?

The point of view is when we as an individual or a society or a nation give up our self esteem and blindly start to imitate than denigration is obvious .

Swami vivekanda had rightly quoted during 19^th century –“The time has come to exchange indian spirituality with western technology”.

If we think about the reason which made us slaves is perversion of freedom which we had .

Freedom is often misinterpreted with autocracy which  does not allow to question right or wrong, whereas freedom is about responsibility and impositions one observe on himself.

Today there is need to understand how our greatest freedom fighters lived there lives in order to achieve freedom .It is required to learn the path which lead to freedom was filled with restrictions and privations ,they by themselves never enjoyed  libre because of such undeterred valor and self discipline they were capable of getting freedom.

Freedom can be termed as the product of constant strain ,struggles and self-impositions which a nation as a whole needs to observe so as to enjoy the  freedom they get and never lose it again.

Einstein once said-“For everything that is really great and inspiring is created by an individual who can labor in freedom”.

The time has come to really work upon safeguarding our freedom despite of differences in ideologies,regions ,heritage, culture and class.

The concept of utopia can be realized if we take the examples of countries like cuba and japan which have set an example of unquestionable patriotism and purposeful convictions to raise from the downgrade they suffered .

The time is not far to regret for our wrong deeds and to be ruled by our own people  even in more dreadful means than the past if not awakened at right time.

 Let us pledge to make a habit of asking ourselves “what we have given to the nation than to question what nation has given to us”.

“Let us start speaking about the responsibilities and duties mentioned in our constitution first than that of asking the rights it has provided”.
